The ads Google must have personalised for you based on that would have been interesting. But everyone on Lemmy uses ad blockers so you prolly wouldn’t even have noticed xD

I only played via Steam so I wouldn’t know. I hear it’s a good deal, but I’ve made it a point to not accept such good deals from BigTech. Have gotten screwed over too many times. Remember when Google Photos allowed unlimited storage?
Ah old days… I used to boot into Windows 10 just for gaming but when Valve’s Proton matured to the point that all my games could work on Linux I very happily nuked it out of existence. But yeah if someone plays Fortnite or needs Adobe products then you still can’t do much unfortunately.
Great list! One suggestion: Try Helium’s OpenBoard fork for keyboard. It has tons of features like full Material You theming, glide typing, multilingual language support as well as autocorrect and suggestion support. I’ve been waiting for autocorrect to be added in FlorisBoard for more than an year now.
I wonder if you can install their android app using WayDroid and then run 1080p/4k streams.
Prolly not worth the effort considering they’re treating linux users like shit, they don’t deserve our money.
Using SimpleLogin, I create an alias for every new sign up and just turn it off if not needed. Only give your personal email to people not apps and websites.

Rival must be open source, otherwise we’re doomed to be in this situation again. Go Godot!
I was shocked when my friend from India told me that for 400 Mbps up and down, he pays only $14/month. Limit: 3.3 TB per month.
Well put.
Yeah but getting the hang of it is the hard part. I don’t know any dev in my company or my circle that uses it; we all did learn about it alright.
Time to go back to our “roots” then.
Try Retro Music Player. It’s a beautiful app + it’s open source.
AoT’s world is a hard pass for me. That also means I wouldn’t want to go back in time and live during the world wars.
Smart Watches.
I don’t want to take care of charging for yet another device. Plus, analog watches are beautiful!
Already trying to limit my screen time, no reason to check notifications the instant they pop.
Don’t want to be conscious of my heart rate and sleep schedule all the time. Also have some privacy concerns about real time data associated with me making its way into big tech’s servers.
30 of those hours were spent on Malenia lol.
That would be Elden Ring. Spent 200+ hours on that game (might sound like rookie numbers but that was my first open world game, was just a casual gamer before that).
I know it’s cliche but Friends.
It’s not thaaaat bad c’mon guys! I mean I’m sometimes forced to setup/debug something on my family/relative’s windows PC and all I take is a pill to keep my nausea under control that’s it.
