41·1 year agoNo its just a common trend I see when I look for answers to questions I have about aspects of Linux. I work in tech and know lots of tech people. Chill is one of the few terms I would use for them hahaha.

2510·1 year agoIt would probably be more if there weren’t so many Linux gatekeepers that tell people to “go back to Windows/Apple” when they ask a questions.

Still waiting on eventually. Haven’t smoked in over 10 years. Every now and then when I see them at the gas station I start craving them
Some LLMs are better than others. ChatGPT is pretty good at Python code. It is very limited on its ability to write fully functioning code but it can toss together individual functions fairly well. I think most people have a fundamental understanding of how to write a question and set parameters for LLMs. This is leading to the “AI Bad!” circle jerk. Its no different than any other new tool.

News@lemmy.world•Trump signs executive order requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections
55·1 year agoI think the argument is that its somehow racist or prejudice against a group that doesn’t know how to get IDs. Ive never seen a solid argument against providing proof of citizenship to vote. I think the main complaint against it is Trump is doing it.

It is good that people finally understand why its important to be able to have these. That said make sure if you buy on to train with it. A weapon you hold but cannot use belongs to your enemy.
