Tbf it’s kinda a fundamental limitation of electric vehicles vs gas that the energy density of gas is way higher.

Criminal contempt of business model
Criminalizing something broadly isn’t usually done with the intention of going after everyone who does it, it’s so when they do single out someone they can charge them even if they haven’t actually caught them doing anything wrong (besides the thing everybody does).

Is this different from the standard circuit breakers?
Isn’t that basically the point of the circuit breaker box?
I only let things I trust are secure (e.g. ssh) have access from the internet, other services I hide behind a VPN (e.g. Tailscale).
Most routers have a feature to assign static IPs to a specific MAC address. You can also tell most devices to try to take a specific IP instead of using DHCP.
There are multiple ways to set it up, but it’s very possible to set a specific device to always have the same local IP, which is usually the first step to many self-hosting scenarios.
Neat!
Any chance you could share some resources on how you did it? I’d kinda like to give it a try…
It’s still cheaper than it would have been without Amazon’s discount
You are correct. Here’s a thread on how CPU usage is calculated:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3748136/how-is-cpu-usage-calculated
It’s basically (CPU time of the process) / (clock time), or (CPU time)/(clock time * number of hardware threads), depending on how it’s reported.
Note that there’s are some complications here, like the time “wasted” context switching or running the OS.
I’ve always been taught if you say “I adjust” before touching a piece then it’s ok to touch it (specifically so you can move an off-center piece into the center of its square)
Most actual photographic cameras have some optics inside that can physically move to change the zoom level, something smartphones don’t have space for.
You’re still getting an ad as the top result, just a different ad.
I’d recommend /dev/urandom instead of /dev/zero
The website didn’t work from US IPs last night, but it’s back already.
You’ll need to receive requests locally at the port your VPN assigns you for port forwarding. You’ll need to send your requests to the IP and port your VPN assigns you. The IP you tell your software to listen to might depend on the software, but 127.0.0.1 or 0.0.0.0 or localhost are all good guesses.
AI generated comment? Or a joke that was received poorly?
