Speaking of Legendary, if you’ve ever played Balatro you can come across Triboulet as one of the five legendary Jokers in the game. All five are based on famous jesters and entertainers from history or media with their effects always being a reference to their story.

In Triboulets case he gives 2x mult to any played king or queen.

This reminds me of the story about Triboulet, a jester for the king of France.

One day, Tribulet slaps the French king’s ass. This makes the king so mad he threatens to have Triboulet executed if he doesn’t come up with an apology that was even more insulting than than this prank.

Tribulet responded by saying: “I’m sorry your majesty, I thought you were the Queen!”

This provoked the king even further, so he condemned him to death. However since he had served faithfully for many years, the king offered him the choice of how he would die.

So Triboulet said: “Good sire, I choose to die from old age.”

This finally made the king laugh, which led to him allowing Triboulet be banished from France instead of executed.

That’s fine. You were in your blunder years and not even old enough to vote. At least you were paying attention and willing to learn.

There are people three times your age who’ve voted for that pedo rapist three consecutive times and still support him, even as he burns their world to the ground.

They’ll do anything to make sure they don’t have to get off their ass and ACTUALLY DO SOMETHING.

I swear, I’ve never seen a party that despise their own voters more than the Democratic party. Even the republicans at least TRY to appeal the their voters interest, even if that interest is mostly just bigotry and religious zealotry.

They don’t like him because his name is HASSAN and criticizes Israel. That’s it.

The people depicted on those statues didn’t want monuments built to them in the first place. That’s the difference between Trump and those guys.

They might have been racist upper class douchebags, but they didn’t want to be remembered for their part in the most destructive and pointless war on American soil. They had a sense of shame, something Trump doesn’t have.

Confederate generals didn’t build those. The Jim Crow South did a hundred years later to piss on the civil rights movement.

Not to mention the Strait of Hormuz. (Didn’t he literally try to rename THAT the Strait of America too?)

He’d be in the bottom 15. The problem with ranking Reagan is that most of the big issues with him didn’t become fully apparent until long after he was out of office. When you make a list like this it’s kinda hard to fit all the awful US presidents in a top 10.

All the president’s between 1840 and 1860 alone deserve to be somewhere in the bottom 15 for endlessly supporting slavery and setting the stage for the civil war, which makes fitting Reagan in kinda difficult.

Only because we have a firm understanding of their legacies. If I made this list again in 40 years there’s a good chance he’s in 1st place.

He’s in the bottom ten, but is currently getting overshadowed by someone in the bottom five.

That makes him look better by proxy.

There are way more eyes on the annoying orange than there ever were on the turtle man.

There’s no way someone wouldn’t anonymously report it to the media or massively fuck up and spill it in some other way.

The words “America” and “learning” are basically antithetical at this point.

Nothing will be learned from all this. They’ll elect some new republican monster sometime in the 2030s if not earlier.

Thankfully (or maybe unfortunately is a better word for it), they’ve done a lot more illegal things than treason.

I think democrats have more than enough things to prosecute them on if they want to. Real question is if democratic LEADERSHIP wants that.
