Most likely the 3 people in their think tank who know fully well what the end goal of the MAGA movement is.
To clarify, this is not an undermining or comparison of both conflicts. This is more so to provide an alongside image to hold news stations accountable for what they determine as “crossing a line”.

Censorship, what does that have to do with the current conversation of the United States attempts at censorship of the Pro-Palestine narrative?
My friend, do you think China does not benefit from the destabilization caused by putting the USA’s blatant support of the ongoing genocide in Gaza on display for all the world to see? Does China have USA’s best interest at heart, no. Is this platform allowing the continued growth of Pro-Palestine support, yes.
The opposite, actually. I do agree that the “ban unless sold” situation with tiktok stems from lack of control over the narrative due to the crackdowns we are seeing on college protests.
I don’t think the main goal is to actually help people. Most likely PR/brand awareness and tax write offs.
As long as the right people are held accountable for that damage. The mainstream media does not have a good track record of reporting on the side of striking workers.

Careful with your phrasing, sounds like a dog whistle for antisemitism. I would phrase it: The USA is destroying what is left of it’s reputation to maintain a stronghold in the Middle East by allowing the IDF to commit various war crimes while colonizing Gaza and the West Bank. This is helped by AIPAC (Israel PAC) lobbying (legally bribing) US politicians with a lot of money.
I do agree that this Tiktok ban is more for content censure than protecting Americans. If they wanted to protect people, they would create hard data collection and selling regulation, then ban Tiktok if they violated it. I would like to see the data Facebook collects next to the data Tiktok collects.
