I should go back and finish either way. I definitely get a bit snobby about animation (old school have drawn purist, can’t handle 95% of the 3D stuff happening a bunch now), but still cool to see these stories unfold as an animated series. I just know it will be hard to avoid looking for the shortcuts and rough bits. Hard to turn the snobbery off sometimes. 🥲

Saw episode one, thought it was dope. Saw drama about the immediate drop in quality before I caught episode 2 and now it’s been a bit hard to wanna jump back in.

Man, after years as a valet ages ago I’m so anti Jaguar. Every single time one came through, it had problems. Owners constantly griped about it being in and out the shop a bunch. Nice at a glance, but plenty of the “luxury” brands are apparently made with fucking plastic and band aids.

Absolutely this. Can confirm from experience. I got it from my Ma, whenever family was hosting growing up she was doing the most. Flexing at every opportunity. Obviously good to play with a budget you wouldn’t mind burning so you don’t chew off too much, but keep being extra.

So far…

Obviously still has fair share of dumb stuff happening with these systems today, but there have been some big steps in just the last few years. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was much spookier a decade from now.

In general, good to use as a tool to be taken with grain of salt and further review.

I got into a fender bender with someone I knew from college. Spun out on ice so we meet front to front when we bumped. Once the cars stopped I swear we both practically did the cartoon eye rub of disbelief lolol.

Not mine but old school crew story. Couple of lads bumped into each other in a bar in Europe - we from the States. Neither knew the other was traveling. Heard a distinct laugh across the pub and rest is history.

Oh, I hear ya, but I bet you’d be surprised by what you could endure on a long enough timeline (and a thicc enough jacket). Humans are surprisingly resilient when there’s enough time to adapt.

Summer’s my favorite season by a mile. Even Fall is hard to enjoy cause the drops in temp feel terrible at first. 65° positively brisk. But every year, across the state, Spring will start thawing and soon as we above freezing dudes bust out the shorts & tee’s (usually one or other, ie: hood & shorts, jeans & tees). 50° suddenly picnic weather.

But also shhh… we kind of a sleeper state. Don’t blow up my brunch joint 😂

I always naively believe I’ll be able to use roads as intended once the ice and snow melt, but somehow my commute gets longer during warm seasons. Thanks construction!
