As someone who has a Toto washlet that goes on top of regular toilets, can confirm that they are awesome. Would recommend. I can’t go back to regular toilets.

I’m the same age. When I graduated college 10 years ago my dad tried talking me into the air force. I’m so glad I didn’t do that; I would have despised serving under this President.
Both jobs were only part time, so it wasn’t every day, but it was still around 3 times a week, so recovering from it was difficult. It was dependent on when the trucks arrived.
About a decade ago I worked a few weeks at ShopKo. Their hours were terrible; they’d make you work 5-9pm to unload the trucks, then make you work 5am-1:30pm the following morning to restock the shelves.
You get exactly 8 hours between shifts making it physically impossible to get 8 hours of sleep. And since the hours were spread so wide throughout the day it was impossible to have a regular sleep schedule. It’s legal for companies to do this to their workers in the US.
I was also only paid around $8.50/hr, but that’s beside the point.
In a similar vein, my next job was at another retail store. One time I requested a weekend off to help a friend move, but they denied it and instead made me work 7 days in a row, Wednesday through Tuesday. They got away with it because the company’s shift tracking app ends the work week on Saturday, so it didn’t realize I worked a week straight.
I was paid around $10.50/hr on average there.
Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for the PS2 had a roughly 1.5’ x 2’ fold out poster that had a map of the playable world with small bits of lore. It even had a short message from your uncle telling you good luck on your journey. The other side had an image of Jak & Daxter on the A-grav zoomer. This was way back in 2001.
I remember as a kid pulling it out and reading it so many times that the corner folds started to wear out.
Similarly, Ratchet & Clank also had a poster with all the weapons & gadgets you’d use with small bits of info for each item. The reverse side also had R&C, however I can’t remember if Ratchet was just holding the Devastator or if they were on a grind rail.
I miss getting those with the games. It made them so much more special and unique.
