Two way pet cams are a thing. You may not be able to text, but you can still stalk and get a bit of long distance affection.
Warning: Do not try this with cats.

This actually happened to me last month. I had to touch code from a previous team/project I was on.
I got the call for a collaboration/consult. I forgot everything about it. Jumped in a meeting next day anyway. We pulled up the code. Everything was documented and I had a section with parameters for a “wish” feature that they actually wanted finally. I pointed it out and told them the needful to finish the feature.
Thank you past me. I’ll have to buy you a drink.
Then I had a nice 5pm Scotch.
Loads of latin countries have tres leches. I prefer the Caribbean ones.
HOT DAMN TIME TO MAKE SOME FLASHBANGS
That’s wild and I’m really glad your buddy didn’t lose his real fork!
“Must be used under adult supervision”
Classic disclaimer
I bet there’s some good threads in RV cars forums for stuff like this.
I didn’t even consider belt driven.
For a use case like this it would be a good use case to do 3D printed casting.
3D print the part. Mold out of silicon. Then make the final part in resin.
Or just buy the real part.
There’s also ways to make plastic parts via injection at home.
I feel like a video of this in action would be classic 2000s internet.
The top two things people spend thier money on after expenses are porn and pets. In that order. So…
Plot twist.
They’re both just unisex single bathrooms

It probably started off as an interesting way to relive the past and then you realized the terrible idea of making people relive a brutal war.

With VR it would be amazing to add playing card, bingo, dominos, etc.
So you have elderly game days.

Yeah I gave up on radio customization when I got a car that didn’t have a dual bin and didn’t keep up. Looking at newer cars and barely anything can be swapped/upgraded it seems.

Yeah this is the kind of shit I was looking forward to when I got into driving in the 2000s. But then car manufacturers started doing thier own non standard radios.
Then the car mod communities made kits to for a dual bay fit.
Then the corpos made radios required to service the car…
No regulations to protect the consumers let them do what they want.
The car part of the car should be completely independent of the entertainment part of the car. Fuckers.
The line can get blurry when you talk about EVs but protections should still be possible.

Honestly VR would be a great way for elderly to travel and socialize.
Retirement homes and church are known places where people “drop off” their family as they age in part due to getting them into social circles.
I have an aging Dad and we’re starting to feel uncomfortable with him going out alone. He also doesn’t want to retire because he’d be lonely at home while everyone is out at work.
I wonder if VR elderly care was normalized (and free of scammers) it would be a nice dream.
I don’t trust that shit in any way that it comes out as due to all the enshitification.
Only use its good for today would be a single player game full of beautiful scenery.

My car is from the 2010s.
I bought a GPS looking screen for $40 that has android auto and carplay. I already have Bluetooth added onto the radio for audio streaming.
Works perfectly for GPS off of my phone and as a media controller.
Only thing I’m missing is steering wheel controls.
If you tried to video call your cat I suspect one of two things would happen.
Either it’s entirely ignored or the cat would knock the camera/tablet off of the table.
