  • Just like “Elections are the pressure release of an unhappy populace” trust in rule of law helps prevent people from taking things into their own hands.

Police protection of right wing shotters, ignoring due process, the supreme court saying it’s ok to break the law if you are Trump. People have lost faith in the instutions of law and are taking things into their own hands.

This is the result of the Republicans dismantling the norms of government and rule of law.

  • At the time of myhardware upgrade it was only arch and nix that supported 6.14.

I’ve got mixed feelings about Fedora. I spent 10 years using a mix of Fedora, Red Hat, CEntOS, and Red Hawk at work so I’m very used to it.

However some of the decisions Red Hat the company have been making make me hesitant about it’s future. It also makes me feel like I’m at work when I use it at home.

It’s not a bad linux family at all and if I was setting up a production server CEntOS would probably be my choice.

  • True but the house is very close right now. California can take more democrat seats from republicans than Texas can take from democrats.

This isn’t about removing the president that takes a simple house majority and a 2/3 senate super majority. California can’t change the senate balance in favor of democrats.

Part of the reason Trump is able to do what he is doing is republican control of the house, senate, and supreme court. So talking even one of those from republicans could make a huge difference.

Assuming the democrats actually act like an opposition party.
