I like it. I like the aesthetic, and I like how it can fit the sound well.

They’re at that level for a reason. The problem is that most people are ignorant or give little consideration to human life.

On Bandcamp you can go on your feed page which shows albums based on the genres and artists you follow, and what fans you follow have bought.

For me:
Power metal or speed metal to start the day or complete a task really quickly
Death metal or epic heavy metal to push myself through tasks
Black metal to go through the day on a sustainable pace
Death-doom when I’m going through a lot of very small, context-shifting tasks for a long time and it’s driving me crazy
Atmospheric black metal or dungeon synth to focus on a complex problem, and also when I’m on latter part of the day and really tired.
Death-thrash to wake myself up when I’m sleepy.

As a man, I’m happy to know that about Lemmy.
How do I tell the difference when at the grocery store? I was thinking of buying one to eat it — I now realize I might have been about to make a mistake.

The cap needsto be way, way lower. You don’t need to to have more money than a government to buy a politician or buy media. And I think that small steps is all it takes for a class of the society to progressively take more and more power as they work to influence people and remove regulation.

I know that it doesn’t answer your original question (the thing about countries doing better than another country - I personally didn’t any claim here), but I’d like to answer that one question.
North Korea is an authoritarian state with a planned economy with a highly unequal society, in part based on slavery. Its official ideology is juche. Supernatural phenomena is attributed to their leaders. It is in many parts similar to kingdoms of old.
Its miserable state could be taken as an indication of the failing of socialism, as socialism is also based on a planned economy.
There’s a few nuances though.
First, socialism means that workers own the means of production. I’m not aware of any democracy, even local, in North Korea. Authoritarian states are famously wasteful and inefficient. Perhaps one should look to socialist states where democracy and rule of law were in effect for a real indication.
I’m not aware of workers having control of the means of production in any notable auto-ptoclaimed socialist states, apart from USSR for a very short period of time. It seems like socialist revolutions ending in authoritarianism and centralization is a common story, almost inevitable.
Second, there’s some remarkable successes even in those authoritarian planned economy states. Cuba has spend extremly little in healthcare and manages to give its population a good life expectency. There were also good social indicators under USSR, and which went down under capitalist Russia.
Third, North Korea spends an enormous amount on the military. No country not in an active war in the world spends as much as North Korea does on its military as a percentage of its GDP. It’s around 20-25% if I remember correctly.
Anyway, just wanted to chime on this.

I don’t know, that seems very similar to agnostic atheism to me. Is there any situation where you would act differently if you’d consider yourself agnostic atheist instead of apathetic agnostic?

Knowing you felt happy at least for a moment makes me happy.
Take care.

Words like “atheism” or “agnostic” make sense as shorthands for everyday conversations or labelling, but if you want to be rigorous about it, it makes more sense to use 4 categories:
Gnostic theist: I know there’s a God, I’ve met Him, I feel it, I have faith, etc.
Agnostic theist: I don’t know if there’s a god or not, but I prefer to believe there’s one
Agnostic atheist: if we don’t know if there’s a god or not, there’s no reason to believe there’s one. Do you assume there’s an invisible giant teapot orbiting Earth because there’s no proof to the contrary?
Gnostic atheist: a god can’t possibly exist, the concept of a god is illogical, etc.
I’m agnostic atheist, but maybe there could a firm reasoning for the gnostic atheist position. I don’t know, I would have to read and think about it more.

Just be mindful of replacing it with another source of protein. Just removing meat and leaving your diet as is might not do. Depending on your diet, it might not be an issue. If you’re from Latin America for example, you probably already eat a lot of beans. But you are less likely to regularly eat a vegetarian source of protein if you live in a more northern region of the world.

I could understand if 1 was the public position while 2 was the one you speak only among like-minded folk. Then 1 serves as something that makes nazism and other far right ideologies more palatable. Is it the case for Nick Fuentes? I don’t know enough about him.

I always found weird the position some far right people take that
Why bother defending 1 if you believe 2?

A lot of the far right in fact.

This cracks me up, why is there a bunch separated from the rest?
