60 years? That is amazing! I seriously believe Dolly Parton is the closest thing to pure good we’ve ever come across in our world. My heart breaks for her.

Her intentions were always good, full credit for that, but she was nonpartisan and we know where that gets us.
That’s horrible. Is it selfish that I hope she doesn’t quickly follow? She does so much good for the world.
I wouldn’t call it selfish. At first glance I was sure this was about her dying, and I was relieved to find out she is still alive.
But right now I think it’s our turn to be there for her, like she was there for all of us for all these years.
That’s my first thought as well. People often follow their spouses in death when they are old and have been together for decades.

So that’s why she’s so pretty.
My heart almost stopped. 60 years of joy she can at least look back upon.
