Is there any way to hide embedded images on lemmy?

    These are pretty annoying.

Always one of the first things I install with a new Arch Linux install! Not because it’s useful or anything, I’m not delusional, but because it’s hella cool

A modern use case: I like RSS in my terminal so I use newsboat but hate it opening firefox and swapping me out of the terminal when I want to read more. So I have it use lynx instead.

I also have a computer without a DE that can browse the web (lynx), look at pictures (JP2a), watch movies (I don’t recall the name of the program but it converts the video to ASCII), edit word docs (take your pick), and send email (mail).

I’ve always preferred w3m or links over lynx.
