I’ve received an absolute avalanche of requests today after listing stuff last night, god it’s overwhelming! Do you give preference to the person who replies first or the person who can buy the most stuff off you…

I give preference to anyone who can give the soonest time to pickup, preferably telling me their preferred pickup timeframe in the initial message. I honestly don’t care that much about the price, I just want stuff gone quickly with as little fuss as possible. So the more questions I have to ask/answer the less likely I am to sell.

Reliability over everything for me. I’d rather know that the person is 100% going to come at [x] time and buy [thing]. It doesn’t need to be today, I’ll wait until the weekend even. So long as I know when they’ll come and that they will for sure come at that time.

Having three people say they’ll come and then don’t turn up sucks. Do I hold out? Do I just go straight to the next person only to find out the first person turned up after all and now I’m shafting person #2? It’s all exhausting.

Yeah it probably is. I just have a weird feeling of fairness to the person who replies first (but tbf everyone’s messaged within like the span of an hour). Just sayin’, especially if your name starts with P and you’ve offered to grab two hydration related items at one time… 👀
