What? The cat ran outside and you forgot about it? 😧
Full Story
My cat is fine, she wants to wander outside all the time, sometimes you don’t even notice that she slipped outside when someone opens the door. There’s some bushes in my front yard that she hides in for safety.
Last week, my cat spent the night wandering outside. Then at 3-5 AM next morning, my mother woke up to a loud cat meow and opened the front door to check. There it is, my cat dashing toward the door. She slipped outside the night before when the door was opened.
I mean, not the first global extinction caused by dominating species fucking up the ecosystem.
On the other hand, photosynthesis at least turned up to be useful for supporting the aerobic ecosystem. I’m not sure the global warming will miraculously cause another type of organism to evolve.
What other global extinction was caused by a dominating specie exactly?

The Oxygen Extinction. Photosynthesis is one hell of a drug
the Great Oxidation Event is typically not counted among conventional lists of "great extinctions"
The whole article talks about it as not being a certainty, but still, thanks for at least backing what you’re saying, although it’s not a “dominating specie” contrary to what you said.
Dunno, but one cat, one cat SOLO, once caused extinction of entire species singlehandedly. Imagine what letting more than one cat outdoors can do… I come from a country where cats are not native. Probably different if cats are part of your normal biomass.
Source and also, that’s not global
