The alternative is it being too cold to leave without fear of frostbite.

Also unless you’re wearing a full Arctic exploration suit then the air is gunna hurt when it’s -35c (with windchill) which fucking sucks for doing small errands. I’d rather just be a little hot and not need to put on a whole 10 layers to bring out the garbage or recycling

edit: I’d also rather die of heatstroke enjoying my 12 hours of sunlight than die frozen in the 3:30pm darkness
