You’re being downvoted but you’re 100% right. Go out in public, literally everyone acts like everything is business as usual. And every couple weeks you’ll see social media posts about some new protest or something, and then it comes and goes without so much as a peep. People are too online, hoping too hard that things will change even though they’re not doing a goddamn thing to change anything.
nah Americans are convinced weekend protests every few months and midterm elections will save them. Most simply don’t care or are too broke to care.
