I also have an exciting day. Mostly because of a car service. I’m planning to walk home, but I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to get through the roadwork section which is not particularly pedestrian friendly. I may be able to cut through a field, which given the current weather could end up very muddy.

When I do get home there is cooking to be done. I’m going to make a start with green tomato salsa and a tomato vegetable soup for canning - that one has lots of ingredients and will take a while.
