I am amazed that BYD has come so strong in a market dominated by European companies (buses). The EU, albeit a very positive thing for its members, is yet to be capable of realizing strategic projects (e.g. battery factory), which would have “prevented” this.
Note: I’m not against competition, but China made electronic vehicles and battery manufacturing a strategic priority and pulled it through, and chances are we will see an oligopoly between very few companies in few years (yet again).
