You can make fun of stereotypes without being racist.

This is literally just a commentary on how JK Rowling wrote her other characters like Cho Chang and Kingsley shacklebolt.

No reasonable person is offended by the joke because it’s making fun of the stereotype not of the actual race.

tbf. recently there was a fad of sketches recreating racism towards clankers. at some point it seemed like an excuse to cosplay racism, it stopped being funny and because creepy. not calling non of those people racist. just that the while vibe was off.

Racism towards clankers? Maybe I’m not up to date on my lingo but aren’t clankers, robots, I.e. not a race? Or am I missing something?

Agree, you cannot be racist towards clankers, or other corporate products.

The issue (painfully minor issue if we can call it that) is that the sketches were basically cosplaying slavery and racism, but instead of black slaves, they are clankers. it was slightly funny the first time, but that joke wore out fast and gets uncomfortable. Not calling anyone who made those sketches racist.
