Once you have read the article, I encourage you to bookmark it somewhere very easily accessible and provide it as a response to others over-simplifying the reasons for drug problems in the U.S.
Not everyone you offer it to will read it, but some will, and among those some will have their minds shifted in important ways.
My main takeaway from this article (which was a great read): I could have just been a Drug Historian this whole fucking time?!
