Check your library’s website, you’d be surprised what’s included. Why pay when you don’t have to? It’s kind of a no-brainer.

It’s possible times have changed. Iirc Broward County was the goto suggestion but that may be out of date. I haven’t ever relied on a library for finding digital media
What does proof of address really mean to a library ? In times of desperation in the past I would enter the library’s address and it would work for at l’est a month before getting removed which can be enough time if necessary. Questionable ethics but usage stats do help libraries…
