I mean thats semi true they have less things that they sell you after a purchase of a licnese to a game. E.g. dlc’s or similar. Still they can brick your system any second if they thought you inserted anything they dont like. Thats just a huge predatory step against any consumer rights.

I mean yes but sadly this will definitly affect others too as nowadays with globalism other companies see this and say hey people really buy any sh*t if you do it like nintendo, even cashgrabs.

I have lost faith in humanity. When people just keep buying scams like these they are getting just rewarded for such predatory practices.

Woah in 2 years, that will be definitly not be forgotten until then…
Ohh yeah i have an nvidia gpu and for some games i have to switch to an oldeer/newer driver, but thats nvidia
The same with windows tho, you always have to find solutions.
I was on linux mint, kde plasma and another rather odd distro with a window manager. All worked out of the box. But i saw hell let loose with someone with cameras and just the cameras, the rest seemed fine and in working condition.
> Linux
> Everything works out of the box in comparison to dindows ( no driver search, no go to installer page x, no installer page z, no search for updates, everything in one place )
> Gets in all games 10+fps more because of reduced bloat
> Distro hops back and forth with no data or functionality loss and almost 1 click “restoration” of apps etc.
Is it just me?
But i can understand if artists really need photoshop they cant do that on linux because adobe explicitly gives no f*ck about any linux compatibility.
I must say if an app doesnt work, mostly its intentionally by the devs, and that sucks. Especially on games with Kernel level spy… i mean anti cheat.
But you will have to worry about your battery. It will depend on usage, “fast” charging etc… but it will not last as a “normal” car does. So you will have to replace it or dump the car. ( most people just dump it as its cheaper to buy new )
You brought up another point: For longer trips charging stations is not easy to find ( definitly not in my region ).
I mean… it depends on your requirements. The charge time is most of the time the dealbreaker, because humans are lazy, with an EV you can not just go “oh i forgot to fuel up, lets go to the next gas station and fill it up in seconds” rather “Oh i forgot to plug in my EV after a long drive, guess i will have to wait some hours”.
But still EVs can take you far and it gotten pretty far in the technology, but i guess the battery still holds personally me off buying one.
At least you know the data is wiped XD

But THAT is recoverable EASILY, not like lost forever if you dont recover data from that phones storage.
Something like OTP are rather more important.

That isnt even the part it is encrypted, the TPM encryption is either “Automatic” or over a password (any length) on startup so far i know it from my work with Bitlocker (tpm 2.0) on windows 10. Idk if this is different on windows 11.

The only phone manufacture that does that is Google with pixel. Any other phone is for my knowledge either “weakly” encrypted or not at all.
Still your Mobile OS isnt just upgrading and encrypting your SD card and main drive. Thats the point.

Yeah it can happen, when you force people without their consent encrypting their data.
It will be priced as it isnt locking you into a ecosystem like meta, so it will be of course a bit more pricey. ( rumors say roughly 1200$ )
