Dick Cheney, America’s most powerful modern vice president and chief architect of the “war on terror,” who helped lead the country into the ill-fated Iraq war on faulty assumptions, has died, according to a statement from his family. He was 84.

Not a religious or spiritual sort, but from the first time I saw him during the election as VP candidate, I truly sensed evil. Good riddance

It was clear to anyone paying attention. GWB was a patsy. Doddering idiot.

By all accounts he had a good heart, but terrible friends and family.

Cheney took the opportunity to run the presidency from the shadows, and did great evil in GWB’s name.

With that said, they both barely hold a candle to the evil of the current admin.

Don’t give GWB that much credit, he was playing up the bumbling idiot schtick as a smokescreen for what was going on behind the scenes

He lost his first campaign because he was “that egghead from Harvard.”

He certainly recalibrated and leaned into a fake Texan accent after that.

Whether he is an actual bumblefuck I can’t say. He’s certainly a legacy admission.
