Doesn’t really matter, population growth is still a thing.
There’s currently more organisms on Earth than there were 4 billion years ago.
Pretty sure the Cambrian still has us beat.
Perhaps in variation of species, but any meaningful comparison of amount of organisms on Earth has definitely increased from 4 billion years ago.
