    Thank you for making me read the article about pubic wigs. .

    But now I can ask you: why do you think that? Nowhere in the article does it say or imply that she invented it. They said it’s a publicity stunt.

      Probably because they invent a new term that they use in the headline, “pubic wigs”, even though KK is quoted in the article directly referring to it as a merkin.

      This isn’t an article so much as its an ad, and merkin isn’t a sexy term.

        Maybe because they thought their readers wouldn’t know what a merkin is but can probably imagine what a pubic wig is?

        And it is not an invented term when it is literally the description of what something is.

        ~50 % of USAmericans read at middle school level and you think CNN doesn’t use the word merkin because they want to hype a Kardashian?

          I like to think I’m fairly well educated, but there’s so much to know and only so much time. Why the fuck should I be expected to know what a Merkin is?

            Exactly what I mean. Merkin isn’t exactly a concept that laypeople will know, so using a more descriptive term is better for a wider audience.
