I think in Illinois and Chicago there may be laws which restrict that right.
I’m not familiar with their anti-2a laws but I know in my area of WA they could go after them for being in a populated, public or “protected” area like near a bus stop or federal building.
They have a constitutional right to bear arms.
And guns!

But those would have to be state charges not federal charges.
Yes they do, however their charges had nothing to do with the firearms they were legally carrying.
