I wouldn’t surprised if it bounced back and angrier than before lol.

Weed burners are good fun! I bought this cheapo one: https://www.totaltools.com.au/welding/soldering-irons/73683-hot-devil-750mm-super-heat-wand-weed-killer-hdwk and it does the trick.
