I mean, western media is largely owned by three conglomerates and maybe a couple more individuals. And they all have something to gain from towing the line.
CBS was just bought by Larry Ellison, the second richest man, and a legendary asshole. He’s also a ferocious MAGA.
CBS used to be called the Gold Standard of Broadcast News, but now they are just going to be one more mouthpiece for the Conservative Propaganda Machine. I predict we’ll be seeing MAGA propaganda programming in everything from news to talk shows to TV series.
