Today at the beach I saw a Polycheate, a bristle worm. I did not touch it, luckily, as many of these marine animals are venomous.
it’s the purple and red worm looking thing with a hundred legs. It moved quite fast when my shadow crossed it. ( it was so brightly coloured irl, really pretty even if it was a monster )
I also saw a sea urchin in a rock pool, it was moving it’s spines.
and a cloudy day over the bay, I dressed warmly and the breeze was quite nice

we’re getting a good education on beach and sea life here on this board 🤓
I have to look everything up to see what they are before I post here, I can’t just say, "here is a thing with a lot of legs "
I forgot to add, that bristle worm was 20 cm long!
