Just spending the evening doing some sewing and mending.
It annoys me no end good jumpers are being eaten by moths. I use eucalyptus wash, I hang up moth repellant, I store carefully, I hunt down moths. I still get damaged jumpers. Maybe I should buy acrylic instead.
@Seagoon_@YarraByte noooo. I’m trying to get rid of the plastic in my wardrobe. It’s slow going but I’m getting one or two new op shop finds most times I look. Got the most gorgeous tie-die silk top for peanuts the other week, I had honestly forgot how lovely silk is, been a while since I wore any.
@Seagoon_ I had thought I might have moths eating wool items but so far I haven’t eyeballed any and traps are empty, and damage is indeterminate… I had a friend say she thought must have moths but I’m not sure.

I have vintage silk scarves ( 1950s ) , they are lovely, so light weight
I do like natural fibres but they get eaten

I have little holes in woollen jumpers 🤷♀️
