We already got a lesson on how to beat piracy. In the early 2010s, streaming companies effectively beat privacy by offering easier access and fair pricing.

But then everyone got greedy again…

I don’t feel exactly comfortable using stuff like this, like I’m well aware that it’s fueling international crime etc. But pick your criminals at this point, and honestly, the smaller guys vs the media conglomerates are somehow still less crooked.

“As a final note: One of the websites in the network, known as “JVTVlive” and likely run by Neamati, openly claims to have “2,000 servers in 198 countries” (jvtvlive[.]com/faq/). Based on the data we’re tracking, these bold claims appear to be accurate.”

LOL, this is an advertisement, and not for security services either.

These security companies are hilarious, truly. They have to know they’re literally just posting a free advertisement for this guy, right? But the stupid CEOs and CTOs they’re shilling their security-theater-ware to obviously don’t, and I guess that’s the important part for them.

Not only that. that „investigation“ is so shallow, I wonder what kind of security they even provide…
