At this point I agree that the (establishment) Democrats are not willing to push back against the corporate oligarchy, but I would say the only way forward is to push hard for progressive candidates in the primaries – people like Zohran who are so relentless on policies that will help people that the socialist label has no negative effects on their campaigns. And then we hope that they can fight through the obstruction that will inevitably be put up by corporate interests.

I don’t disagree there. What i disageee with is that the Democratic Party cannot be salvaged. We can take it by force if needed me. The issue I see with it is there it full of boomers and genx-ers with boomer mindsets.

We need to primary all those fuckers so we can move forward. The ideas of Democratic Party resonate with people, the junk the centrists have are all Republicanesque.

I am immediately reminded of one such loser who laughed at the idea of $15 minimum wage back when they were in a position to push for it.

I don’t like the term DINO (democrat in name only) because it sounds like a purity test but it’s time we take action to push these people out by whatever means necessary.

A new party won’t work. The republicans tried it. Taking over the party worked better for them and only took a few election cycles.

We need to unify and stop the in fighting. Anyone who resists or says liberals are just and bad or any other negativity towards a rebuild need to told to fuck off. They are not worth engagement.

For example, I will not respond to weasel but I will jump into to anyone attempting to engage with them. That’s the entry point. Not these doom and gloom motherfuckers.

I don’t think you’re wrong here. There’s always some green shoots - your Bernies, your Tailabs, your LA City Councils, your Mamdanis.

But you do have to recognize this as a salvage operation. You’re not just getting behind the wheel and driving away in this thing. You need to gut it and rebuild it if you want to get where you plan to go.

I will not respond to weasel but I will jump into to anyone attempting to engage with them.

        Incredibly brave of you.

And we see how excited establishment dems are to have a genuine progressive candidate who is almost guaranteed to win.
