      They used to be. Even subreddit bans were temporary, something like a month, but then something changed and by now pretty much all bans are permament. My last ban was also permament from /r/gaming for a comment that said “seeing 100 DLCs inspires piracy” (this was reference to massive list of Sims3 DLCs).

        I reported some edgelords for being rude and disrespectful, apparently that was “Abuse of the Report Button” which has always been “Against the Reddit TOS”, even though and I pointed out that the Reddit TOS that they linked me doesn’t say shit about it not being allowed to report someone for being a jackass, hell it didn’t even say I couldn’t report someone just because I didn’t like them.

        They didn’t even bother rejecting my appeal, they didn’t even answer it
