I frame it a different way: his party likes to idolize the military and say they will take care of their own, but then pull stunts like this. should be a wakeup call for some people.
Could not agree more. That kind of thing is part of the problem if you ask me. We have this culture where people are expected to genuflect to cops and military. I don’t think they deserve less, depending on how they do their job. I just don’t understand why it’s expected that military and cops should be treated better. Why? If anything, I think we should be thanking caregivers and teachers, etc. for their service…
I realize stories like this are meant to humanize the situation for a lot of normies as to just what Taco and Pee Wee German are doing to this country, but…it is a bit cloying to see that entitlement aspect.
Those types of things are completely fine.
They are functionally inconsequential but show acknowledgement of a decision to serve that most Americans do not make and many would actively try to avoid if called to serve.
Expecting preferential treatment by governmental agencies solely based on that is a totally different story.

Eh. You’ve agreed to kill people for money. I don’t see that as a virtue.
Not even your own money, you’re killing people for more money in the pockets of weapons dealers, oil barons, and the politicians they employ - I mean “lobby.”
I feel for the guy, I really do. But this military entitlement pisses me off. You don’t deserve better than others.
He may not be entitled to better treatment than others, but his country just abducted his wife after he pledged his life for that country.
Entitled terrorists.

I agree with you otherwise
I volunteered to murder brown people in the name of oil lobbying. Thank me for my service
I didn’t have a choice, I was poor and the only way I could better my situation was blowing the limbs of a 9 year old Afghan boy.
Please have sympathy for me, im a vet.
I’ve got more respect for fentanyl dealers than I do vets.
Vets do important work and are valuable members of their communties, they can heal pets.
Veterans on the other hand…

Is it for being a military member, or for being a member of THAT military? Let’s narrow in on this generalization.
