I think Android Auto is really the only thing keeping me from completely de-googling. Many times in the past I’ve installed some stripped down ROM or whatever but I always go back because Android Auto is too convenient.

It’s becoming painfully clear that federation is the most confusing part for new people. It felt less so with Mastodon but the Reddit migration seems to be bigger. (I don’t know since I was already on Mastodon a few years before the Muskaning) I think we need an easier way for people to understand how instances work.

I have a C2 as well and I think the C4 is the newest of that series. I’m personally running an Odroid-N2+ for HA and it’s awesome. Using HA + Add ons for a powerhouse of self hosting. The Home Assistant Blue is also based on the N2+ so support isnt an issue.
