I’m working on a classifier to keep the chaos of my inbox under control. It uses the gemini LLM API (gemini-flash-lite) to add labels to each email depending on things like:

• does it require an action from me?
• does it require a reply from me?
• is there a deadline?
• is it an invoice?
• is the information just an event about changes to information that exists in another system (i.e. a notification that can be deleted)

Currently upgrading from the 2.x to the 3.x model and tuning some of the prompts.

Not just usually; this is how WIMP user interfaces have worked since the 80s, regardless if you use a mouse or another device (e.g. keyboard) to scroll the viewport. It’s built into the data model of the UI toolkit.

But it’s light arranged in a specific pattern!

I feel like this would be easier to draw conclusions from if I had absolute counts rather than percentages. Was the change in the Linux share due to other platforms (Windows) increasing their numbers, or did the total number of Linux users dip and then return? The latter seems difficult to explain.

The people I know who bought one don’t give a shit about ethics. They stayed away from them for as long as they were socially unacceptable, but as soon as the storm blew over they saw their chance to buy one.

Just… a data point. My experience is that at least 20% of a population doesn’t care about stuff like this. They care about their own social status, but not ethics.

Different situations. She can’t force other people to dress differently to appease her, but if they make her uncomfortable (for whatever dumb reason) she’s allowed to avoid them.

But also different situations because sex drive is possibly the strongest biological drive that we have, so even if you’re not helpless against it your brain can be distracted in a way that it won’t get from gendered clothing.

I’m not religious or devoid of self control, or even interested in a relationship with a “gym girl”. But I would still wish that the women at my gym chose to dress for function rather than to attract… whatever it is they want to attract. It gets tiresome.

That way, you can help someone else pay their bills!
