Didn’t know about this. Checking it out now, thanks!
It would except for the fact that shoe sizes here, from babies to adults are only sized in centimetres. If there are international sizes printed on the shoes, they have no meaning to residents in Japan. Check the tag inside your shoes; If they have international sizes printed on them, you’ll see Japan’s is in centimetres, and may have EE (or more Es) next to it to denote width. If there is nothing, then they are standard width.
Children’s clothing is also sized in centimetres. Makes things really simple.
No trash cans in the parks around here. Train stations tend to only have trash cans on the platforms, not inside the station (just my experience, not definitive). You just learn to carry your trash with you until you find somewhere to dispose of it. I don’t see the big deal. If you do buy something from a street vendor say in a park or at a festival, they will provide a way to dispose of it. Also, it is not so common to eat whilst walking, so it reduces the problem considerably.
University would have been a better example.
Same, but in Japan.
Nice! Might work better with ewe instead of sheep, though.
Have you got compatibility turned on in the photos app?
a giant “fuck off” sign to international tourists.
That’s what I’m wondering about. Will data only tourist sim/esim work as usual, or will “incompatible” 4G devices be blocked in this situation, too?
One would think that tourist sims would work because they are data only, but who knows?!
I feel like nobody here read the actual article.
I agree. Most people are acting like they are killing off the whole product line (of which there is only one product currently). However, the article clearly states that a second generation product is in the works.
Still no eye deer
No idea! (Eye deer)
Haha the comments on YouTube are fucking brutal:
I have been confined to a wheelchair for the past 20 years today I stood up and walked just to turn this off
Yeah, this looks so forced. A big nope from me.
I’ll save you guys from watching. It was just a bog standard crappy USB C cable. This video reeks of advertising to me. The tool which was used to identify the cable (which tbh I thought was pretty cool, so I searched it using the obvious hints in the video) is a kickstarter which is starting sometime today. Awfully sus!
They should include more countries for this to be a fair comparison.
Here in Japan you have to wait zero days to see the equivalent of a GP (a doctor of internal medicine is what would be considered the closest) unless it is a weekend or holiday. But even then, there are some clinics open on those days (they share the responsibility on a rotating basis).
You simply rock up and wait to be seen. Generally you won’t be waiting too long. Maybe 30 to 60 minutes. With pharmacies conveniently located next door, you’ll be in and out in no time when you’re feeling crook.
Yep! So convenient /s
It sucks, yes. But, if you select the “web” tab instead of the “all” tab at the top of the page, you’ll get something more akin to what you’re looking for. There’s probably even a way to script it so that it defaults to that view.
That’s totally true. I do see where they have posted. I personally disagree that it is mildly infuriating though. We’re all allowed our own opinions. If I was working in tech support and had the OP call up, their actions would come across as mildly infuriating.
OPs bank has provided the solution. For whatever reason, they’re choosing not to use it. I think they’re making a mountain out of a molehill.
Don’t threaten me with a good time.
