I blocked my lg from the Wi-Fi after i got a “Kobe Bryant memorial” ad, while playing on my switch… TF?!

I hope there is at least one human that has to listen to the filthy, angry, Klingon profanities I scream, while jerking myself raw to hard core, ball draining, homoerotic, gay porn…
RIP Fireworks…
I’ve heard rumors that they do play well together, but that’s people running it in docker with a “read-only” flag set for the content folder, with metadata saved in the config folder
I’ve used the Jellyfin app to listen to audio books, but for my purposes, it’s easier to run the separate client/server Audiobookshelf.
I remember playing Blue so much as a kid, I would hear the MIDI based music whenever I closed my eyes.
So glad we finally have the room on the carts for different music for each region/dungeon/route, but there something quaint about only having a half-dozen musical bits per game.
I’ve noticed lately that I have to tick a “I trust this app” check box and hit “Accept” in order for the password manager to auto-fill my timesheet app. Why add two extra clicks, with no ability to permanently say “I trust this fucking app, you bastards”…
Dang, I just realized I didn’t explain the setup well enough:
An old laptop runs the Jellyfin server, but the Pi runs the reverse proxy. For some reason, trying to use the reverse proxied address causes problems, but connecting directly to the laptop via IP address and port runs fine.
I tried a Jellyfin server with a pi 2 or 3 and it couldn’t serve more than one client at a time. So i imagine a zero wouldn’t even be able to load the app, much less serve anything :/
My main reason for running my DNS/ad block/nginx through the zero, sometimes the laptop goes down, freezes, or fails to clear the transcodes folder, so having that stuff separate keeps at least part of the network running.
If I trusted the battery tech more, I would use an old phone. But I’ve had one of those white plastic Mac books hooked up to power so long, the battery swelled out of its enclosure :/
Maybe there’s a way to disconnect the battery, or an app that switches off charging, so it drains enough to keep that from happening
Oh nice! I’d love to run an ad blocker/dns/reverse proxy on something with a little more beef than the Pi zero I’ve got now.
Jellyfin and or Pi zero does not like streaming through the video.local address I’ve got setup, so i have to use IP address to get anything without stuttering.
I used to develop ads (non intrusive things for home depot or go RVing) and i used ad blockers. When testing, i would just run private browsing with plugins disabled…
I love me some organ music.
There’s a video game called Stellaris that uses it, and I find myself pausing the game, just to zone out to that ethereal sound.
Way more kids will die if these people ban all vaccines. See the measles outbreak this post is about.
This goes way beyond “people i don’t like”. These people are stupid, evil or both. People who want me executed because I like Dick. People who want to ban vaccines, so other people’s kids will suffer. People who want me in a work camp because I need antidepressants to function. People who are raising those kids to believe the same stupid, evil shit that they’ve bought into, belief that others should suffer, because reasons.
I’m not talking about the kids, I’m talking about the parents, the same type of people who want me to be locked up in a camp because i need antidepressants to function. The same people who want to ban vaccines, execute the gays, deport my lawyer sister in law (while cheering the release of felons that stormed the capital).
The only way these people can possibly empathize with actual human beings, is to hurt.
Shhhh, don’t interrupt the enemy when they want to make a mistake
Damn, didn’t know he died. The headline should be:
Omega factor artist Tomoharu Saito lost a leg, and then his life, due to working on the game
The only “creation” I’ve tried to do is a cover letter for job hunting. If I needed something other than a resume, portfolio AND references, then I see nothing wrong with using one to do work that another ai is going to look at… Just my $0.02
Whenever i search for a problem now, most of the posts that contain actual answers are more than a year old, and increasingly out dated.
Fortunately, Lemmy is tech savvy and small enough that I can ask questions without worrying about the down vote brigade.
Same.
Bought a Blu-ray burner and “archive grade” disks for third location backups.
I made a list of files that is just a text document (3MB!) that sits on the root of the Blu-ray. There’s probably a better way of doing that, but it works for me.
And I’m a bit of a diva. :)
