Ah, yeah, forgot about that. So yeah, karma matters to some people very much.

Wonder what mental gymnastics the fanboys/chuds are doing to spin this into “yes, Mr. Musk you are so smart, please piss on me next”?
She’s pretty much going to be a figurehead/cannon fodder though, right?
I’ve heard a lot that it’s also something to do with KSA and MbS. Don’t forget, musk also kowtowed to Erdogan’s demands to censor twitter in Türkiye during the election in May
For the last eight years or so, my response to any invocation of Hanlon’s razor has always been, ¿por qué no los dos?
A lot of the people who discriminate against the lgbtq+ community absolutely believe that sexual orientation is a choice, and I’d wager that includes the justices who ruled in favor of the web designer.
It was important enough for karma-farming bots to exist for some reason, I dunno. I’m glad it’s not really a thing here, it was especially frustrating to see the occasional innocuous comment be downvoted for some inexplicable reason.
Yeah, I may just do that, like post a sticky/pinned thread (if that’s A Thing here, idk) saying that whoever is interested is welcome to take over modship. I just want to get something started. Maybe this weekend, why not.
I plan to replace all of my comments with useless nonsense or whatever (as if they aren’t already); have there been any reports of comments being restored from that?
I’d start a community/magazine on my own based on subreddits that have no analogue here (e.g., cassette futurism, Comedy Bang Bang, Doughboys) but would that require me to be a mod or whatever? I’d be fine providing material as if I were seeding a garden, until more users come in and it becomes active on its own, but I don’t want to be watching it over constantly or anything like that.
As someone who doesn’t eat quiche (don’t like eggs), how is that category not “tart”? I’ve argued that a pizza, rather than being a pie, is a tart, but under this system, is it actually a quiche?
This is what I have always maintained and I’m pleased that it’s getting recognition
Where might one go to do that…?
Signed, upvoted, and boosted
Well golly.
Same. I probably still will, just for that closure, wherever available, but once Apollo is dead, I’m out.
Honestly, I don’t even care if that’s the case. Cars are becoming more like living rooms on wheels and less engaging overall (less about driving and more about being driven), so I don’t even care what I drive when the time comes, so long as it isn’t a piece of garbage with a shoddily-built interior. Hell, I’d rather just not have a car at all at that point, but we don’t have the infrastructure here (in the US) for that.
