You can disable issues if you want:
I had to do that on a corpo repo to proprietary BS once. It works.
PRs are similar. Just dont allow it and put the rules as such. Or make the repo private. Or even better, self host ;)

For me its JavaScript. But you would not be the first I’ve heard that have talked about the loose typing.
My current job is a mix of old is, python, c#, and SQL. C# is fun to me. And SQL is standard now. Python works and I use it in favor of power shell/bash scripting.
Yes and no. That was around 5 years ago. Now you get to deal with everyone too cheap to do the rewrite, those that will fire you for any downtime at all, or they only want in person in bum fuck nowhere.
Outside of online, I dont mention that I know COBOL. I used to put it on my resume and the kind of offers I would get…where VERY bad. Or had some huge red flags.

Yeah its an awesome feature. I really like it.
You can combine peertube subscriptions, Lemmy/piefed communities/mastodon accounts just about anything subscribable to a “feed”. Ex: https://piefed.social/f/fediversevideos
If you have a piefed account it helps with keeping up with multiple like communities.

Its a feed, a piefed specific feature. So its not going to work with lemmy.

The effort they are putting towards x86 emulation will definitely help the broader Linux community. I saw a bit about 24 min in on gamer nexas video. That would help down the line on all sorts of devices.

Yeah Ive seen those articles too. Yet even new social media like blue sky supports rss without an account. Everything on the fediverse does too. Its fantastic.

Shout out to https://piefed.social/f/smallweb
Lots of great communities there. And rss is still king ;)
Cube and micro-sats!
I have no idea but I’ll be looking at this thread! Let us know if you find one!
Its been SUUUPER stable on my systems. That and they are doing things slighly different than Ubuntu, which I really like.

Digital swapmeets. People get terabyte hard drives, have a meetup, and expand your selections. Its worked since the 90s.
That and support your local library.

One of the reasons we all switched. A public modlist is so nice over here. At least we get reasons.

I’ve broken my Lemmy system a couple of times. Yunohost and Lemmy do not go well together. Went to docker and its slow but dependable. I like playing around with it but how do people keep up with Lemmy.world? It just slams my network.

My job is 50% coding and 50% delegating/meetings/etc…
We have an issue where we have a VERY proprietary language/system that is very difficult for llms to work with. And the new devs are getting frustrated because copilot keeps trying to push an adjacent language lol. They are ligitimitly having issues coding without llms anymore.

I’ve never heard the anthem! That’s crazy.

I think in order fpe this to succeed they are going to NEED good games. No really that’s what people care about.

You should always ask for sources ;)
Those are all on top of my head. In my local area we have affordable housing money that is still making its way into the community and its helping out quite a bit. California does a TON for its people.
If you cant change your country for the better, try to change your state. If you cant change your state for the better, try to change your county/city. If you cant change your county/city for the better, try to change your local community/family group. And if you cant change any of the above, just try to take care of yourself. Sometimes thats all you can do.
Used to play Trumpet.
I still do the fingerings when thinking about music once in a while.
