I’ve been doing exactly this for the past 5 years or so.
It’s been pretty stable and reliable.
I went with the PCI passthrough method

This was the first thing that came to my mind
it does look right though… and enjoyable!

I used to use a push notification app and a small python script for that.
I would “&& notify_me ‘message’ “ and get a notification on my watch when whatever script I was running completed
I judge this wave of people in tech pretty harshly.
Just a bunch of boring script kiddies
Exactly. at the end of the filibuster… THEY VOTE!
The filibuster needs 2/3 to break but it always ends eventually, and then it’s a simple majority.
All of congress just use this as a boogeyman for people who have never studied the rules.

My kids and I read Harry Potter a lot. We love it and it’s been a good bonding experience.
We limit our consumption of Harry Potter though. We read the books, watch the old movies and occasionally (once a year) maybe, purchase a lego set.
I have explained to my kids that I would rather not support JK Rowling due to her stance on trans people and for the most part they are cool with things.
I am certainly still not helping but I believe my kids understand pretty well

I love that someone out there is like
“Yes, finally all I needed was a woman spanking a banker in a pig mask”

“Fuck Dem kids”
– Republican Party
pretty sure they have said that many times

I assure you
When you step into a full body scanner SOMEBODY gets a look at your shrinky-dink!

When we fly we are forced to let some stranger see our junk with the full body scanner
Gotta make sure no one is smuggling a full sized tube of tooth paste up their ass
Seems reasonable given that

I have an Aqara doorbell camera thats been really nice
I am not 100% sure about their privacy but the camera can record local as well as to iCloud when used with HomeKit
My IoT approach for the last 7 years has been HomeKit or DIY and I have not been disappointed too much

He documented an era and inspired many people
You will never be able to talk about the early days of the internet or computing and not refer to his work

I do not weld but could see myself making this mistake without having been informed.
I use brake clean as a basic cleaner for a lot of things in my garage as it does a pretty good job and also evaporates quickly without leaving a residue.
The story tracks my general experiences pretty well
I would guess this mistake is much more common as brake clean is used as a general cleaner by a lot of people

I mean, if we are going to capitalism with a straight face we have to start being the whole bitch.
He owned it, Lamborghini wanted it… that made it a valuable asset that he held that Lamborghini should have paid for

Modern fridges last less than 7 years.
I like smart devices and IoT but I hate that for normal people this has been diluted down to cameras and screens on everything with no consideration about privacy or boundaries.

Bottom rocker is territory.
Nomads naturally are not claiming anything but MCs will go to war over that bottom rocker as well.
I think the Hells Angels war with the Mongols started over this sort of conflict

Damn, I am sad now… kids don’t get the joy of a properly defaced text book anymore :(

I want HomeKit compatibility. OR something hackable that requires no cloud connection. These companies are not our friends and have betrayed our trust at every step.

Local models are actually pretty great! They are not great at everything… but for what most people are using LLMs for they do a fine job.

Thats from llama3.1:8b and the answer is decent, it took about 20seconds to generate my answer and used no more power than if I were to play a video game for the same amount of time.
Thanks for this.
I use Strava to track my cycling throughout the week to watch number go up.
Due to my own weirdness don’t wish to use their official app which seems to be the only way to upload rides for me now.
