Yeah, it’s barbaric. Have you seen how they “train” the horses? It’s abuse :/

I was forced to use it in an IT job I was in. I fucking hated it.

2·7 days agoThere is a man in Japan who was on Japanese death row for like 60 years. If you’re not aware, on Japanese death row, you’re in near complete isolation. This guy was in solitary for around six decades. AND HE WAS INNOCENT
Edit: also, Japanese death row doesn’t work the same as American and others’ death rows. They don’t tell Japanese death row inmates when they’ll be executed until less than an hour before they are to be executed. So this man spent 60 YEARS not knowing if the day he woke up is the day he died.

4·9 days agoGeorge stinny was a black boy who was accused of murder of a white person in the 1800s (I think) somewhere in the Deep South. He had an all white jury, a useless fucking lawyer and pretty much had everything stacked against him. He was just 14 when he was executed. In the last few years, he was exhonorated.
Anyway, my point is I wouldn’t trust ANY state with making sure someone is ACTUALLY guilty. If there is even a slight chance of someone innocent being executed, it should be abolished. It should be anyway as no one, outside of very few exceptions, like self defence, has the right to take someone else’s life.

8·9 days agoYup. Scandinavia actually rehabilitates their inmates and as a result has a very very low recidivism rate. Meanwhile in America, you go in for shoplifting and get turned into a hardened criminal who ends up murdering someone. #Freedumb

Same. I normally don’t particularly care that much about celebrity deaths. I mean, it’s sad in a lot of cases, but it doesn’t usually well my eyes. But when I found out about Patrick, I felt a huge gut punch. The last time I felt this was Robin Williams :( they were both good people who did not deserve dementia :(

What if…… we didn’t put them anywhere
