It’s really annoying navigating a filesystem in the shell.

Either you remember exactly where a file is located, have a reference, or you’re going to be doing a lot of “ls, cd, ls, cd”.

It really is.

I’ve learned a lot about language by coming up with names and seeing other people’s.

I think we are blessed with things like set/get. Such wonderful, simple, short concepts that compliment each other so well.

And they rhyme.

The solution to the problem is to have higher standards. But people with low standards get mad whenever that’s pointed out.
