Very interesting to live in this time. A decade ago i felt twitter was unmovable. Now there are all this alternatives, racing to become the new standard.
I legit believe Threads is going to become the “true” succesor. The others will exist, but will not fill the hole twitter is leaving.
There seems to be an instance dedicated about it at aiparadise.moe . Perhaps you could help it grow further!
About the linux distros bit, correct me if im wrong: If we add up all personal use cases, we get a number hihger than 100%. Same thing with professional use cases. That means users didnt choose just one option in the survey, but multiple. So adding up all distros will give us an inflated number, where there could easily be duplicates (e.g. someone chose both ubuntu and arch. That should be one vote for linux instead of two).
Same. Ive already started using lemmy as a place to find solutions to my problems. I just dont google “problem reddit”. I go to lemmy search bar and browse “specific keyword not working”. Been working with certaib topics, and its only gonna get better from now on
I believe there is a browser extension that lets you block posts about rich people, in case you truly dont give a fuck about their endeavours. I dont remember its name but you could certainly use it
