There was just an update posted regarding lemmy that would allow for community merging. This is really going to be a game changer if they can figure out how to work that properly.

Huh… my feed has been nothing but straight porn or pictures of John Oliver… sometimes both at the same time.

LOL… the link they have for the 3D Printing community is just some guy posting “Balls” over and over again… Not so sure they got that one right.

Edit: Also… the expanse sub moving to discord is big sad… Wish they’d recreate that sub somewhere on the fediverse instead…

I mean, they’re not entirely wrong. The moderation/administration tools are just not developed yet. But that’s what you get with beta services.

Bro same. It’s almost like FOMO. There’s just so much content out there that I feel overwhelmed just trying to parse through what I’d actually want in an RSS feed and terrified i’m missing actual important stuff.

I mean… my wife who very sparingly uses reddit, and when she does it’s either to look at animal videos or boobs, asked me what happened to reddit as her feed was almost completely blank…

This definitely affected a very large chunk of users.
