Shift into reverse - from a touchscreen, mind - and suddenly the entire cabin comes alive with beeps and pings, the dashboard changes to 3 different cameras, none of which show me what’s happening to the sides of the car. The 3d overview diagram does almost a good enough job, but is that a trash can, a person, or a telephone pole? The computer isn’t sure. On top of that, the blind spots are huge and the back window is tiny and heavily tinted, so I have to use the screens to some extent. If I was my car, I’d have turned half that shit off.

Technically, the paper doesn’t need to have been punched, that’s why they’re pointy. You can just jam them through the paper and open the veins.

It was under a removable panel. If you didn’t have a Sega CD, you probably didn’t have a good reason to go looking for it.

You could make them go “oof” on the summon if you added a requirement that the lava properly flow along the ground and interact with all characters near the event.

I don’t have all my stuff plugged in right now, but when I did I used an AV switch or an AV receiver. For Dreamcast and Xbox, I recommend using VGA video if you can swing it, significantly improved video quality. But it’s getting difficult to find screens that take it as an input anymore.

Zip and Jazz drives had some serious data stability issues that would have sunk them anyway. I used them for school work and needed to have duplicates because it was a question of when the disk would fail, not if.

California has an indepenent committee that draws the maps. This action will require a statewide vote to temporarily override that committee’s maps for this purpose. I don’t think the vote would have succeeded before Trump won. Remains to be seen if the vote will succeed now.

My understanding is that Samsung uses an odd standard that means they can’t quick charge from Anker devices. That was at least true a few years back. Would be great to know if that’s changed.
