This is huge! Been wanting to spin up immich for a good while and this will defo put it higher on my todo list!
Oh wow what a great find! Absolutely loving the atmosphere in these.
Ah ok good to know, i just read this from their FAQ which is why i assumed it wasn’t supported.
Is there a native client for Mac or Linux?
No, apart from emulation or community-maintained clients, there is currently no native Linux or Mac GameVault client application.
No linux support as far as I can see?
What an awesome website! Its literary a goldmine of good information on privacy tips!
Niagara Launcher is a great, but different launcher. A modern + minimalist Android home screen optimized for one-✋ access and staying focused. Designed by a German team who really cares, believe they group just went fulltime after having been done with university. They also allow you purchase the apk to avoid Google. They have a free version and a trial of the premium version.
Nice, how did you go about removing them? And do you also close them with keyboard shortcuts? Would like to try this on KDE too!
This is oke of my true painpoints with linux too. However its tempting to get Hyprland working properly as that removes all windown titlebars (Hyprland is designed to be keyboard first). So at least visually that is a lot more appealing since you no longer will notice this.
Id suggest watching the videoes of LearnLinuxTV on Youtube, he covers linux on a very basic level, hes got loads of videos on a vast amount of different topics.
I am 100% checking this out!
Not sure about one in particular, but check out the github page off guy called 11notes. He makes rootless and distroless images of popular applications. Might be something to find there ☺️
Personally uaong forgejo myself and it has been smooth sailing for ages! This is the first time ive ever seen people taking a stance against it, though the ones in the comments sidnt seem to have a good argument.
Ive also been looking for this for some time now but not found anything specific that fits my needs exactly. However i did find a very nice app called Planify for desktop/pc use. Has integrations to Nextcloud and Todoist.
Looove me some Debian!
Like a lot of other people here I only use Debian for servers. However i recently (couple of months ago) spun up PikaOS (gaming oriented OS) that is based om Debiam Testing but have applied the patches from CachyOS and Nobara. Its a been a pleasure to use so far and hope to see ots community grow.
Juat wanted to chip in and say that PikaOS is a gaming specific OS based on Debian Testing. Been running it the last couple of months and been enjoying the heck out of it! https://wiki.pika-os.com/en/home
Would have been nice indeed, however there is a web version: https://wifi4eu.ec.europa.eu/#/list-accesspoints
my bad! I misread the context and had not heard of it before - yet living in the EU. I will change the title. I got confused as I saw their post on LinkedIn, and it was posted recently: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/european-commission_wifi4eu-activity-7359136374895046656-oXYi
I have finally taken the time to get rid of tailscale today, while i love the software, the people building it and how magically easy they have made networking - there have been too many hiccups that have made me want to switch away. Such as, terrible battery optimization on Android phones(up to 20-30% battery drainage a day) no idea how this is an issue as normal Wireguard barely drains 1-3% a day.
Now running a Wireguard server off my brand-spanking new UDR7 (what a dream this machine is to use). Got that set up with DDNS and a custom domain. I’m extra happy i managed to find a good way around not having to use Cloudflare as that feels like selling my soul to the devil. So shoutout to DynV6 for being a really great service, free, simple and allowing custom domains.
Ive combined that with Caddy on my server, so now im able to get https://sub.domain.com/ on my local network aswell as over wireguard remotely! Next weekend will be dedicated to learning Pangolin 🤟
