Agreed except for the archaic rating system for video games. Gonna tell full adults they can’t handle seeing a drug in a game that’s called by its real name? That’s pretty ridiculous.

That all sounds pretty fair. I haven’t watched many of those videos you’ve mentioned but I certainly have noticed times where it feels like she is stepping outside of her expertise. And totally agree on Kurzgesagt. I feel like they are one of the more reliable science channels on the platform.
Care to explain why?
Quantum computing is widely misunderstood by the general public, and really won’t be as game changing as people think. I doubt any consumers will ever have a need for one that would justify their price.
While I agree with most of your statements, the RTGs that NASA uses (assuming that’s what you are referring to) don’t really have much of a connection at all to Nuclear power plants. They are very useful for small scale projects like rovers but really have no commercial uses for anything near people. Plus I think NASA generally prefers solar power whenever they can use it as it’s far cheaper and safer to get into orbit.
I thought one of the main drivers of these storms WAS warm water? How would adding more energy into the system lessen the storm?
I hate to break it to you, but nowadays neither of those are exclusive to electric cars. Just sounds like you might never be buying a new car again.
I view it as a great insult for them. Conservatives want nothing more than to be “normal.” They rely so much on the feeling of safety they get by being part of the “normal” crowd. If you called me weird I would embrace that label. I am weird! I’m not like everyone else and I like that about myself! For them that is not at all the case. The more we can make them think that what they are doing is NOT accepted by society and that we all think they are weird the more likely they are to stop doing it.
No they literally go to the manufacturer and undercut the other businesses that use them so they can sell the item for cheaper until that business goes under, and then they raise the price. It’s not just a normal stealing of a product.
Serious question from an autistic dude who is awful at this kind of thing. If you are genuinely attracted to a person and are interested in dating them is it wrong to just state that outright then? Because I see plenty of women where I like their dress, or their hair color etc. but that doesn’t mean I’m actually attracted to them. I suppose simply stating “I find you very attractive” might be best as it is just all encompassing?
Yes I always have a device for tagging whales in my back pocket just in case.
Sort of. It made more energy than the lasers that actually caused the reaction. It still used vastly more energy than that to actually power those lasers. We are still far off but it was a major stepping point.
A bribe with someone else’s money.
I suppose they really wanna use all that R&D that they did on gesture tracking with the vision somewhere.
What did you just call my wife???
Because Nintendo makes good games? Because they want to relive an experience they had when they were younger? Or simply to play something that they missed when they were younger? Nintendo makes great games that are almost all reviewed highly, it’s just their legal side that is so shitty. When I’m playing a game it isn’t charity to the dev who made it. It’s because I want the experience that the game is offering. Nintendo has made (and still offers) some unique and high quality experiences through their games.
During the BLM protests there were stories all over the country of police intentionally riling up crowds and destroying property as an excuse to use violence in protesters.
Yes, and the people who CAN BARELY AFFORD HOUSING can not afford to move there. A large portion of American citizens have said that a 1000 dollar emergency would be devastating for them. These people would not even be able to save up to change their life like that even if they wanted to.
The people who can barely afford housing can almost assuredly not afford moving to another country.
I share a lot of those albums in my top listens! I highly suggest any album by the Avalanches (there are only 3.) Start with Since I Left You, then Wildflower, then We Will Always Love You. They’re a group from Australia that kinda popularized Plunderphonics. Where they just bought a TON of old records and made songs purely from samples. Since I Left You is an amazing album that is pure samples, easily over 1000 samples were used.
