been using snikket for a year or so. it is pretty slick

get some DLNA or other OSS way to sling it to my house audio player (mopidy or snapcast) and I’d finally have to stop worrying about symfonium licensing hassles.
i don’t mind contributing, but what if i never connect that device to WAN?

the rabies is a small price to pay to avoid the dog autism.
oh wait nvm they got it anyways by licking my hands after i took Ah sea toe min oh fin

im gonna check this out! on gog!
self hosted habitica? just spun one up the other day
excellent! i was worried i may lose interest but my SO has really embraced this

yo! I’ve been keeping up with this!! Awesome to see you here and seeing tempo get some love!
i just started this last night! how is it going for yall?
i am gonna get hit on one of my dailies tonight 😰

I got out of customizing everything once I started flashing different ROMs on my first smartphone, which was the Verizon Thunderbolt
After having three or four different operating systems on in one week, it became so obvious how much time I was wasting on that stuff lol

get your password situation squared away! every time i spin something new up i am grateful to have a pw manager to keep it all unique and maximum character limit
don’t even have to memorize the user of a lot of em

it certainly was a little bit of tinkering but absolutely blew my expectations away. software mixer allowing me to have announcements directly on top of what I’m listening to regardless of what I’m listening to.
mopidy has more extensions, i also use tidal and other stuff!

Mopidy with the upnp extension.
I’ve installed that directly next to a snapclient. mopidy and snap can use the same audio output at the same time.
i actually ended up using the snapcast pipeline for the announcements (from music assistant) while mopidy ducks volume when the announcement fires.
upnp let’s me control it from symfonium, mopidy-mpd let’s me pick playlists from home assistant.
it is very slick and I’ve been enjoying it thoroughly
dry mouth.
wake up feeling like mouth is sandbox

damn. well said

fuckin wack

i deal with it by just trying my goddamned hardest never to have to see them.
bury myself in setting up self hosted shit so maybe i barter a season of bobs burgers for an ounce of pepper once all the shareholders have extracted all value and moved on to the next planet.
i absolutely can’t stand it.
deal with them because i want to use the pontoon boat? its just not worth it anymore
edit. did not realize it would format like that
not that i can think of? i pop over to look at storage space every so often and it doesn’t look like it’s growing very much.
inviting people is easy, directly from the android app.
the snikket app itself is pretty straightforward. The only thing I would caution is telling people using the chat service to make sure their encryption button is checked or whatever.
there are other apps that work with this, the one i use on android is conversations.
i haven’t had to delete users yet, but that sort of thing is done directly at the home page with admin login.
I had tried to use the Ansible playbook to get a matrix server up and running and failed for about a week straight before trying out Snicket and was texting with my mom across the country in an hour
