I’ll always prefer SML 1.
But I do fondly remember this.

The rural population isn’t the issue, it’s suburbia which is where the majority of the US population lives.
It’s not dense enough for public transportation to be viable and it’s zoned in a way that makes pedestrian traffic a non starter.
Suburbia causes a lot of problems. I understand why it exists - owning a house with a yard is nice. I personally wouldn’t want to give that up to live in an urban environment if I didn’t have to
Solution is stop using delivery services.
I’m excited for it for the same reasons.
I don’t have skill in art or coding.
But AI platforms have let me produce things that work for my personal needs that would be beyond my abilities before starting the project.
Do I need sources for the failed invasion of Kyiv?
Everyone knows about it.
To what end are we bringing it up though?
Is there a point, or is the only point to degrade the actor in some way?
I feel this is one of those situations where I can say ‘You aren’t wrong, but you’re an asshole’ if you are bringing it up without a greater reason.
I don’t think the dude would be ragged on for taking advantage of the opportunity afforded to him.
This comment is the equivalent of some guy telling you that you’ll be paid in exposure and that the exposure is going to be worth way more than money in the long run, just trust me bro.
Can’t, really. Have several critical Windows only apps.
It’s a chicken and egg situation.
It’s frustrating because I don’t know it, and I don’t learn it because it’s frustrating.
Generally deploying some kind of service.
It’s things like this that prevent me from using Linux more.
I force myself to use it for projects where it’s an option because I feel I need to learn it better but I kind of dread it every time.
Inevitably I’m stuck frustrated reading conflicting guides from years ago and wondering just how badly I’m going to fuck things up this time.
Sometimes it all feels so esoteric.
I’ll tell you, I have my setup to the point where I go to one website, subscribe to a show, and episodes of that show appear to watch on my TV same day they are released.
I also set myself up to get email alerts telling me what new episodes I have to watch when they are done being downloaded.
… Setting all that up took me awhile and will take tech skills. But now that it’s set up, it’s zero touch aside from adding new shows.
Plus, I never have to worry about trying to find where to stream at it and even if my Internet goes out I can still watch my shows
Alright. This isn’t an attack, honestly.
You obviously have some sort of chip on your shoulders and an anger management problem.
You are going to continue to run into this problem in any community you interact with until you address it.
I really, really recommend you look into anger management counseling.
Again, I’m not saying this for me. I’m saying it for you.
Yeah. This is the one that came to my mind.
Dude straight up ended his career. His band members left, label dropped him and his colabs said they wouldn’t work with him anymore.
Turns out he was a lieutenant in the oath keepers and the FBI grabbed him. Last I heard he made a plea deal and got put into the witness protection program.
He is the band and it can’t exist without him. Even if he could continue, he’d have to rebuild it from the ground up.
It’s a shame, I really Loved Demons and Wizards, the iced earth / blind guardian colab group.
… Based on some song lyrics I feel I should have seen this coming when looking back though.
Joke pivots on the interpretation of the word ‘address’. In this context it would mean ‘how do you handle this problem’.
However, it can also mean 'what is the proper way to refer to something (Ms, Mrs, Your Majesty, etc).
The joke is instead of addressing meaning handle the dangerous situation it means what is the proper way to refer to the elephant.
Yes, it’s generally considered rude to switch languages specifically to hide your conversation.
It’s because most will assume you are doing it to talk shit.
I think it’s a combination of nostalgia and the fact that SML1 had levels, enemies and music that were super unique compared to other Mario games before or after.
SML2 is a better game on the technical side of things but nothing in it blew me away or was memorable enough for me to recall with super clarity like I do with 1.
